About Philippe

Legal scholar and data scientist:
13 years at the intersection of AI and law

Research professor in AI and Law at Universidad Panamericana (Mexico), where I co-founded the Law and AI Laboratory in 2019. PhD candidate in causal AI applied to law.

Consulted by the United Nations and Big Tech companies (Meta and others) on AI regulation and ethics. I have led projects on legal automation, legal chatbots and automatic detection of legal concepts through machine learning.

An advocate for methodological rigor in law: I challenge superficial ethical approaches and promote empirical, legally grounded analyses of emerging technologies. International speaker in Mexico, Portugal, Canada, France and Sweden.
