About

Legal scholar, data scientist
and AI researcher

Research professor in AI and Law at Universidad Panamericana (Mexico), where I co-founded the Law and AI Laboratory in 2019. PhD candidate in causal AI applied to law.

Consulted by the United Nations and Big Tech companies (Meta and others) on AI regulation and ethics. I have led projects on legal automation, legal chatbots and automatic detection of legal concepts through machine learning.

An advocate for methodological rigour in law: I challenge superficial ethical approaches and promote empirical, legally grounded analyses of emerging technologies.
